Anonymous surface
The version of a page a site serves to a visitor with no account, no cookie and no token, which is the only surface a credential-free scraper can read.
It is usually a subset of what a signed-in client sees, and the difference is the honest cost of not holding an account. What it buys is a pipeline with nothing that can expire, be rate-limited to a person, or be banned.
