Terms of use
Short, because a documentation site does not need much. The parts that matter are about what the numbers mean and who is responsible for what.
The content
This site is documentation for the Actors on apify.com/oswaldocarabano. It is written by their developer, which makes it a first-party source: read the measurements as evidence, published with their method so you can reproduce them, not as an independent assessment.
What the measurements mean
Coverage percentages, throughput rates and accuracy figures describe the runs they were measured on, and each is published with its sample size and date. They are not service levels and not guarantees. Target sites change their markup, their rate limits and the fields they publish without notice, and when that happens a figure measured earlier becomes a historical record rather than a current claim. The methodology page explains how each number was produced.
Not legal advice
Several articles discuss the GDPR, the CCPA and the terms under which sites publish data. They are written by a developer explaining engineering decisions, they cite the instruments they rest on, and they are not legal advice. Whether a particular collection or use is lawful for you depends on your jurisdiction, your purpose and your relationship with the people concerned.
Running the Actors
Actors run on the Apify platform under Apify's terms and inside your own account. The data you collect is yours, and so are the obligations that come with it: what is lawful to collect, keep and use is your decision, and each Actor's page documents what it returns so that decision can be an informed one.
Trademarks and affiliation
Not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Apify, Nextdoor, Inc., coches.net or Adevinta Spain. Product and company names are trademarks of their owners and are used here only to describe what these Actors read.
Reuse
Quote from this site freely, with attribution and a link to the page. If you quote a measurement, quote its sample size with it — a coverage figure without its method invites exactly the misreading this site tries to avoid.
Liability
The content is provided as is. I correct errors when they are pointed out — hello@actorstack.dev — but I cannot accept liability for decisions made on the basis of a figure that has since changed on the target site.
