Derived field
A column computed by the scraper from what the source published, rather than read from a field the source provides.
A derived field is only honest when the raw input to the derivation ships beside it, so the derivation can be checked instead of trusted. Deriving a value the source deliberately does not state — a match status, a parsed salary range — is often the most useful thing a scraper does and the easiest place for it to be quietly wrong.
