Set-aside
A restriction reserving a U.S. federal contract for a category of small business, such as 8(a), women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned or HUBZone.
A set-aside code is present on 46.1% of notices, and its absence means open competition rather than missing data. The code records the restriction; it says nothing about whether a given business qualifies.
